Watch: First Teaser for Dope

Writer/director Rick Famuyiwa's movie was a hit at Sundance and caused a bidding war. Now Dope is teasing us with its first teaser.

Shameik Moore stars as Malcolm, and the film tells the story of him and his friends who are obsessed with punk rock and 1990s hip-hop culture, so are outcasts in their tough Los Angeles neighborhood. As the press release explains, "A chance invitation to an underground party leads him into an adventure that could allow him to go from being a geek, to being dope, to ultimately being himself."

Dopewill be released June 19. Watch the teaser below:
