The film WTC View was inspired by a real incident from the writer-director Brian Sloan, who posted an ad for a roommate on September 11, 2001, and the unbelievable responses he received.

Starring Michael Urie, Elizabeth Kapplow, Nick Potenzieri, Lucas Papaelias, Michael Linstroth, Jay Gillespie, Jeremy Beazlie, it was actually the first feature film for Michael Urie who went on to star in Ugly Betty and the critically acclaimed one-man show Buyer & Cellar. It premiered on Logo on the fifth anniversary of 9/11, in September 2006 but has been out of circulation for years.

As the director explains:

"The film serves as a time capsule of a unique moment in the city's history. Everyone knows what happened on 9/11. This film is about what happened in those days and weeks after, what life in the city was like during an extraordinary moment in New York and the nation's history. I'm thrilled that it will now be available to millions of people who might want to learn about that time and also see the story of 9/11 from a different perspective; that of a young man struggling to survive in New York."

The film is available now via iTunes. Watch this exclusive clip below:
