Fasten your drill belts, Ellen's Design Challenge is back for Season 2 beginning in January. "I promise this season is going to be bigger, better and armoirier," Ellen DeGeneres said.
We'll first be introduced to this year's contestants on New Year's Day in a one-hour special, Ellen's Design Challenge: Meet the Cast. What's first? They'll be tasked with designing furniture for the greenrooms at The Ellen DeGeneres Show. At the end of the season, the last competitor standing will receive a $100,000 cash prize courtesy of Wayfair.com and see their work featured in HGTV Magazine.
As judge Cliff Fong told us earlier this year about being on the show: "It was really a gift being able to watch the designers' creative work evolve. They are truly talented people -- impressive and powerful -- and hopefully I influenced them in a positive way."
The new season of Ellen's Design Challenge premieres Monday, January 18, at9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV.
