With a decade of performing under her belt, Bre-Z has put in the work to get to where she is today as a multihyphenate creative, rapper, and actress. Her most notable roles are as Freda Gatz in Fox’s Empire and Netflix’s hit drama series All American, which she’s been on since 2018.
She’s also passionate about her music career, which led her to being in writing rooms with some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B, like Dr. Dre, Jennifer Lopez, and The Game. She says the work she does “serves both a personal therapeutic purpose as an extension of who I am, my deepest thoughts, the things I can only say in song form or even a character, and a broader purpose.”
Between seasons of All American, she’s making new music and released the single “B.L.U” in August. “I’m really excited about all the new material I’m releasing and the genuine support it’s been receiving,” she says. “I’m ready to get out and start performing these records.” @brezofficial
