The Lesbian Storyline Blossoms in This Exclusive Marvel's Runaways Clip
Nico and Karolina take it to the next level in season two.
Queer geekdom rejoices this month as Marvel's Runaways returns to Hulu for a second season. Fans will remember season one featured Marvel's first onscreen gay kiss between Karolina (Virginia Gardner) and Nico (Lyrica Okano). Although Karolina was a lesbian in the comic books, the romance between her and Nico never quite came to fruition.
The show follows a group of Los Angeles teenagers with superhuman abilities who unite against a common enemy: their nefarious parents. Still on the run for season two, the group takes refuge in the "hostel," an underground mansion in Griffith Park.
In an exclusive clip from the season two premiere, Nico and Karolina settle into their new home. As their relationship has continued to grow, they decide to share a room. If it's any indication of what's to come, we can expect this season to give us lots of queer feels.
