Gay Man Rushed to ER after Shoving 15 Hard Boiled Eggs up his Rectum while on GHB

For reasons which remain unclear, a man living in the Netherlands jammed 15 hard boiled eggs up his rectum after taking GHB with his partner.

The 29-year-old man caused a tear in his intestinal wall, leading to excruciating pain.

Upon being rushed to the hospital by his partner, the doctors noticed the patient had tachycardia [high heart rate] and tachypnoea [rapid breathing].

One doctor said, "Physical examinations showed abdominal guarding over the entire stomach."

At this point at CT scan was performed, which showed a perforation of the pelvic colon and giant amounts of air and fluids in his abdominal cavity.

The doctors quickly performed an emergency laparotomy to repair the tear in his gastrointestinal wall.

"The eggs were removed as well as we could and the abdominal cavity was thoroughly rinsed," one of the doctor says. "After the operation, the patient was monitored in intensive care for a short time. After several days he could leave the hospital in a clinically good condition."
