NYPD Demotes Officers for Taking a Photo with a Male Stripper at a Senior Center

NYPD priorities

The NYPD clearly has their priorities straight...

Clearly having their priorities straight, the New York Police Department demoted two officers for taking an innocuous photo with a male stripper at a senior center.

Two of the four female cops who posed in uniform in the photo below have now been stripped of their jobs as "neighborhood coordinating officers," (NCOs) and are now back on regular patrol, meaning they are limited to answering 911 calls in radio cars.

As NCOs, the officers participated in the NYPD community outreach program, which interacts with local residents. The photo above was taken with "Messiah," a male stripper who was invited to a Mother's Day party at this year's Fort Washington Senior Center.

Messiah was disappointed to hear the news about the officers demotion.

"They didn't cross any line at all. They did nothing wrong. It was an innocent picture, when all is said and done," he said.

"The fact that they are minority women who are doing positive things in the city makes it an even worse situation. They did nothing to embarrass their shields, their uniform, or me," he concluded. "Nothing at all."
