A fan armed with a knife and two concert tickets attempted to kidnap Lana Del Rey at her show in Orlando Friday night, The New York Times reports. An Orlando Police Department tweet posted Saturday reveals that officers took 43-year-old Michael Grant into custody a block from the Amway Center, where Del Rey had been scheduled to perform that night:

Officials determined Hunt to be a credible threat after "cryptic and threatening" posts on social media. He was not able to ever make direct contact with the singer.

In a public statement responding to the attempted kidnapping posted yesterday on Twitter, Del Rey revealed that she's "doing fine" and thanked fans for their well wishes. She's set to perform tonight in Atlanta.
