It feels like it has been literally forever since we were jostling around in a packed bar with bellies, biceps, and leather vests brushing past. Too long honestly. And as that doesn't seem to be changing in the foreseeable future -- in fact there are reports that we are soon to hit a third wave of infections even though it doesn't quite feel like we've exited the first -- our outlook is pretty bleak at the moment. But a new music video by Big Dipper brings us back to those moments, if only for a few minutes.
Released late last week, Big Dipper's latest music video is for his song "Back Up Off Me," for it, he brings the bears and otters we've come to know him for including in his work, and heads to the Eagle LA bar. According to a note, the clip was filmed before social distancing restrictions were put in place earlier this year so it's packed with bodies, many of whom are actually from the local leather scene and others.
Of those featured is The Boulet Brothers Dragula's Biqtch Puddin, porn performers Hunter Harden and Damian Dragon, Saturn, Andre, Talon Broughton, Bitter Betty, Dre The Cyborg, Brad Kalvo, Patrick Smith, Barrette, Daniel and Marc, Pup Yoshi, Marvin, Nabor, Mario Diaz, Joaquin, Herman, Suren, Don Mike, Ezra, Graham Kolbeins, Tony and Mack, and Brent.
You can thank Ryan Walker Page for the choreography and Ashton Michael for most of the styling and fashion.
"Back Up Off" me is a track off of Big Dipper's The Ham and Cheese EP.
