Rihanna is your June Voguecover star, and in addition to talking Fenty lingerie and Ocean's 8, the legend shared details about her musical follow-up to 2016's Anti.
"With her next record -- her ninth -- Rihanna is moving the needle on her creative output all over again: She plans to make a reggae album," Vogue writes. "Though it's too soon to name a full list of collaborators, one early influence may be Supa Dups, the Jamaican-born record producer who has worked with such dancehall greats as Beenie Man, Sean Paul, and Elephant Man."
Anti already proved Rihanna is capable of much more than just pop bangers, so we're screaming at the news of a possible laid-back summery record from our gorgeous queen.
Rihanna also mentioned to Vogue that her favorite reggae artist is Bob Marley, and her favorite song "Buffalo Soldier."
Of course, Rihanna has mentioned reggae music once before on the record--Diplo told GQthat when he asked to collaborate with her: "I played her a song. And she was like, 'This sounds like a reggae song at an airport.' I was like, 'I'm gonna go kill myself.'"
