Cardi B’s New Single is a Warning to Cheaters

Cardi B., Be Careful

“Be careful with me.”

Let it be known that this current era of the diss track, punctuated by the likes of Lemonade and the Nicki Minaj/Remy Ma beef, is thriving. The latest entry into the sacred call-out texts is Cardi B's new single, "Be Careful."

With a softer sound, "Be Careful" carries a more serious tone than other tracks where the rapper pops off. Like that calm, collected tone your mother takes with you when she knows everything you've done because she's been keeping a detailed list, Cardi seems to be pulling out each receipt she has for fiance Offset of Migos regarding cheating rumors.

"Be careful with me, do you know what you're doin', whose feelins' that you hurtin' and bruising?" she sings, "You gon' gain the whole world but is it worth the girl that you losin'?"

During her interview for the April issue of Cosmopolitan, Cardi talked about the breakup rumors surrounding her relationship, which started swirling when she was seen without her engagement ring on New Year's Eve. "It's not right, what he f--king did - but people don't know what I did, 'cause I ain't no angel," she said. Listen to "Be Careful," below.
