Miley Cyrus Celebrates Change in 'Younger Now' Video

Miley Cyrus

The song is the title track off Cyrus' new album, out Sept. 29.

"What goes up, must come down," proclaims Miley Cyrus in her new single, "Younger Now," a soft, guitar-led jam about embracing change and feeling youthful regardless of age. "Change is a thing you can count on," she says with a subtle southern twang. "I feel so much younger now."

The song is the title track off Cyrus' forthcoming album, Younger Now, which features summer highlight, "Malibu," and the earnest, empowering "Inspired." A sharp twist from previous LP's, the pop star's latest fully embraces her country roots with a cowboy hat tip to father, Billy Ray, and Godmother, Dolly Parton.

For Cyrus' "Younger Now" music video, she reunited with director Diane Martel, who worked with her on career-defining visuals like "We Can't Stop" and "Dooo It!" A campy, queer reflection of the singer's lyrics, the video features a number of aging performers, from drag queens to pole dancers and hoopers, who're as lively as ever.
