Selena Gomez's long-anticipated, Petra Collins-directed video for "Fetish" is here at last. But if it's ball gags and leather you were hoping to see on the starlet, guess again: the video is a dreamy exploration in what different soaps and peaches taste like, as well as an examination of what happens when you're sitting at the dinner table and it starts raining from the ceiling.
It's also important to mention that Gomez finds the time to writhe on not one, but two different floors in the video--first in her kitchen, and then in a large refridgerator. Perhaps her fetish is for freezer burn. And while we're on the subject of freezing, we must note that Gucci Mane does, indeed, show up in the film, in a very faded shot that also seems to have taken place in the Great Fridge.
"Fetish" also had a lyric video, directed by Collins, that focused exclusively on Selena's mouth. Before that, there was Gomez's "Bad Liar" video, which featured a nostalgic 70s-inspired queer narrative. It appears the singer is interested in exploring some new creative visions in this next round of music, off her eagerly awaited follow-up album to 2015's Revival.
