When Iranian-Dutch singer and songwriter Sevdaliza revealed the name of her debut album, ISON, the only clue she gave to its release date was that it would be sometime in 2017. Few could have guessed it would come out less than three weeks later.

Her debut is hauntingly eclectic, with tracks melding seamlessly over a slowly melting, writhing, and fusing visual display. Don't think of each song telling its own story like traditional music videos or other visual albums before it.
