Nothing like a new Bleachers song to brighten up a rainy Friday. And honey, that cover art.
Jack Antonoff debuted the new single from his band yesterday afternoon by placing a doppelganger piñata in Union Square that fans could whack open to find USB drives containing the new tune inside. He revealed the time and location of the strange unveiling on Instagram:
The new track, in classic Bleachers form, is an energetic '80s-feeling anthem, co-written by frequent Antonoff collaborator Lorde, who also lends some vocals toward the song's end. Bleachers' latest is rumored to be the lead single off a forthcoming second album from the band.
