Iggy Azalea is back with a new single, "Can't Lose," featuring rapper Lil Uzi Vert. On Thursday, the Australian artist announced through Twitter the track would appear on Def Jam's Direct Deposit, Vol. 2 compilation, offering a preview of what to expect from Azalea's forthcoming sophomore album, Digital Distortion.
"I felt it was important to say; I know it's been a long wait for my album," said Azalea, who first announced the title of her new album in October, 2015. "I hope my fans understand my life has been filled with so many personal changes. I felt it was important I made some creative changes too--I needed my album to reflect where my head's at in 2017."
"Yeah I got a couple houses and they all paid," Azalea spits on the slow, trap-heavy single, with auto-tuned vocals from Lil Uzi Vert. "Now I don't need a stylist, I'm rockin' Balmain; and I'm countin' up the commas every time the phone ring."
"Can't Lose" follows Digital Distortion's lead single, "Team," which took an impressive 12 total people to create, Fusion reports. Though it's still unclear the direction her new project will take, Azalea has previously said the new sound recalls her Ignorant Art mixtape, more so than her debut album, The New Classic.
