Smith also posted an excited bedroom selfie of his response to the news that the song was already No. 1 on iTunes.

Earlier this month, Smith teased the album via Twitter and wrote: "This is one of the highlights of my career. I am honoured to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song."
