Black Panther On Track to Become First Marvel Film With Perfect Rotten Tomatoes Score

Black Panther has debuted on Rotten Tomatoes with a perfect critical score of 100%--if it remains here, it will be the first Marvel film to sit with this rating in the franchise's history.

55 reviews have been accounted for so far, with another 250 or so expected to join the mix ahead of the film's February 16 official release. Tracking services estimate the film could be on track to gross $150 million in its first four days, which could mean it breaks the record for February box office (Deadpool currently holds that title with a $152.1 million gross.)

The film, directed by Ryan Coogler, stars Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan, Chadwick Boseman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis.
