Michelle Williams Will Play Christa McAuliffe in The Challenger

Michelle Williams has the uncanny ability to devastate us with her touching,emotional performances, and her next role is gonna be a doozy. Williams will play Christa McAuliffe in The Challenger, a film about the space shuttle of the same name. McAuliffe was NASA's first Teacher in Space, who became a member of the Challenger's seven-person crew. On January 28, 1986 the Challenger launched out of Cape Canaveral and exploded 73 seconds later as millions of Americans watched live on TV. It's on of America's greatest national tragedies, and now Williams will help bring it to life.
