The New I, Tonya Trailer Should Win An Olympic Gold Medal
Margot Robbie gets stabbed by Allison Janney?
The first I, Tonya trailer, about the real life of infamous world-class figure skater Tonya Harding, is here, and honey, does it look insane and incredible.
Margot Robbie plays Harding, who was the first American woman to perform a triple axel in competition and infamously hindered prosecution after an attack on her competitor, Nancy Kerrigan, at the 1994 Winter Olympics. Allison Janney plays her chainsmoking monster of a mother, Sebastian Stan plays her hot (and presumably unstable) lover, and the entire film plays with our hearts. It looks really incredible and you must watch the trailer now.
I, Tonya, directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Steven Rogers, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and opens in New York and Los Angeles December 8.
