Paul Iacano to Star in Gay Indie Comedy, Dating My Mother

Paul Iacano, (The Hard Times of RJ Berger, GBF) and Kathy Najimy (Sister Act, King of the Hill) are set to star in a new gay indie film, Dating My Mother.

The movie will follow a mom and son who are both desperate to find boyfriends (aren't we all?). It'll explores both the complexities of their relationship and their struggles to find a connection in the vast, confusing world of online dating.

Iacano will star as the potential love interest of the aforementioned son, played by newcomer Patrick Reilly, and Najimy as the family's neighbor. Rounding out the cast are Kathryn Erbe and James Le Gros.

Dating My Mother is directed and written by new filmmaker Mike Roma, who previously was the mind behind the web series Danny the Manny, the trailer for which can be seen below.

Shooting for Dating My Mother starts August 22 in New Jersey, according to Variety.
