First-time filmmaker John Krokidas's long-anticipated Kill Your Darlings will finally open in cinemas October 16. Starring Daniel Radcliffe as a young, pre-bearded Allen Ginsberg and Dane DeHaan as Beat generation fixture Lucien Carr (along with Michael C. Hall, Jack Huston, and Elizabeth Olsen), the film shows the romantic relationship between the two men, as well as the murder of another man by Carr's own hand.
As DeHaan told Out earlier concerning the actors' filming their kissing scenes together: "We did three times really fast. Then it was over, just like that. We looked at each other like, Holy shit. We just did it. Any time I have a love interest in a movie, it's my job to actually fall in love with them. While I was making this movie, I totally fell in love with Dan."
