Olympic gold medalist, and all around kick-ass soccer star, Megan Rapinoe just told the world she's engaged to her long-time girlfriend, Sera Cahoone.

Ecstatic about the news, the soon-to-be-married lady took to Twitter; even fellow teammate, Hope Solo chimeD in.

After coming out as gay in 2012, Rapinoe has been beyond shameless about her sexuality and helping bring LGBT advocacy to the forefront.

If winning the World Cup last month wasn't enough, Rapinoe will soon have someone to call her wife in a place where marriage equality is not only nationally accepted but celebrated! Rapinoe even threw in a post on Instagram to share the news. What can we say? We're totally jelly.
