When Trisha Paytas says something on social media, her fans proceed with caution. The eccentric internet personality is known for her outlandish antics. Over the years, she has settled into motherhood and became more mellow.
It seems like the rumors of Paytas joining the cast of Euphoria for season 3 could be true after all.
Paytas and her co-host, Oscar Gracey, were riffing when he said, “Maybe now that you’re on Euphoria, you’ll get on Overcompensating.” To which she replies jokingly, "They couldn't afford me" and adds, "I really thought I was unstoppable ‘cause I was doing so many calls after [Euphoria]. Maybe one day I can show my Euphoria self tape."
Paytas continued, "I don’t know if I can. I got to find out the logistics maybe once it airs or something like that. But yeah, I think I really nailed it."
The comments caught her fans off-guard because it had been rumored for months that Paytas worked on the show earlier this year as filming began. Photos from the set leaked and seemed to show her and the show's lead, Zendaya, filming scenes together. She also stirred up speculation after she followed the show's lead makeup artist on Instagram.
Back in 2021, on her now-defunct Frenemies podcast with Ethan Klein, she spoke about being offered a spot on the show as a "plus-sized influencer and said that she sent in a self-tape but eventually never heard back from them. But now, the mom of three is can add yet another television appearance under her belt. Last year, she made an appearance on Saturday Night Live in a sketch with Bowen Yang.
Paytas is not stopping there, however, as she's expressed interest multiple times in appearing on Alan Cumming's popular reality television game show, The Traitors.
