Ciara Miller & Tefi Pessoa are 'tired' of straight men, want 'gay love' on Love Island

The gorgeous After Sun hosts are ready for some queer contestants to shake up a future season.

It's time for queer people to invade Love Island.

After bisexual host Ariana Madix said she'd love for more gay bombshells to enter the villa, Love Island After Sun hosts Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa are co-signing on Madix's manifestations.

Season 8 has proven to be one of the gayest seasons of Love Island yet as it featured strong bromances, assless chaps, and plenty of tension between members of the same sex in the villa. Contestants Bryce and Zach have also stolen the show with their flirty moments on camera, which have sparked important conversations on more queer visibility.

"I want to send a smoke signal to Bryce and Zach! You guys can kiss each other. I love gay love. I need more of it. I've been tired of straight men and I can only deal with gay men," Miller tells Out.

"If they kiss, they kiss! Trans contestants would be amazing. Nonbinary contestants would be amazing. Everybody's looking for love! If everybody's looking for love, we have to include everybody," Pessoa adds.

Although some fans are shipping for Bryce and Zach to be an item, their sweet and sensitive relationship is showcasing a softer side that's not normally depicted for straight men on reality TV.

Both Miller and Pessoa hope Love Island serves as a wake-up call to men who suffer from toxic masculinity and have a hard time tapping into their emotions.

"It's not gay to love your friends! It's fine to cry in front of your friends. It's fine to express yourself and to need reassurance," Miller says.

"Men only hug each other in times of crisis and some men only receive flowers at their funerals," Pessoa says. "Having some more sensitivity and these tender moments... I hope it inspires other guy friends to maybe be that way with their friends. Maybe we should have more girth checks!"

The finale of Love Island airs this weekend on Peacock. To see the full interview with Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa, check out the video at the top of the page.
