Gawdland has made Drag Race herstory!
As the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs. The World season 3, Gawdland became the first Asian queen, the first queen from Thailand, and the first queen outside of the U.K. to snatch the crown on the hit series.
Once fans from across the globe watched her victory on this week's finale, social media erupted with congratulatory messages and queer joy celebrating the grand moment. Many even said she avenged the robbery and shocking elimination of Drag Race Thailand's Pangina Heals from season 1 of the popular show.
"I love my fans! They're really supportive. To see them loving on my drag, appreciating my drag... it's unbelievable. I feel like I'm the luckiest person in the world. My mentality going to compete was like, 'I want revenge for my mother!" Gawdland tells Out.
Although Gawdland is enjoying this moment as the reigning Queen of the Mothertucking World, the star has already joked on social media that she's ready to compete against other iconic champions on a potential RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars: All Winners season. (The last All Winners season, a special edition of All Stars, aired in 2022 and was won by Jinkx Monsoon.)
"If I get a call for the All Winners season, of course, why not?! I say yes to every opportunity in my life and it's going to be such a fun experience for me to compete against the icons and legends that I've looked up to."
There's so many talented winners all over the world to take on, but Gawdland hopes to see the notable winner of Drag Race season 7 return to the werkroom.
"Violet Chachki! Put this in the deadline. Gawdland wants to compete against Violet Chachki!"
