Out has an exclusive look at the upcoming Focus Features film.
The library is officially open, and screen icon Isabelle Huppert is reading fellow legend Lesley Manville for filth, honey! But don't worry, it's all for fun, because the epic read is all part of Focus Features' newest title Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris!
Based on the 1958 novel by Paul Gallico and directed, co-written, and produced by out filmmaker Anthony Fabian, Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris is described as "the enchanting tale of a seemingly ordinary British housekeeper whose dream to own a couture Christian Dior gown takes her on an extraordinary adventure to Paris." And Out has an exclusive clip that you can watch above!
"This Dior dress that you desire so much, where will you wear it?" Huppert, playing the House of Dior's ruthless HBIC Claudine Colbert, says to Lesley Manville's Mrs. Harris, a humble, kind British maid (and total fish-out-water) who just wants to buy a beautiful gown in the City of Lights. "Will you wear it polish floors or keep it shut in your little wardrobe? A Dior dress is designed to astonish and delight. How will you do that, Mrs. Harris? You, forgive me for saying this, but you are nobody. Invisible. How will you give this dress the life it deserves?"
"It's my dream," a shaken -- but unwavering -- Mrs. Harris replies.
Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris hits theaters on Friday, July 15.
