The up-and-coming menswear brand Cadet, created in 2012 by gay couple Raul Arevalo and Brad Schmidt, has already garnered a fashionable following thanks to its smart, military-inspired designs. All the garments are handmade in their workshop in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and are now available in three stores across New York. But if you can't make it to the big city, now would be a good time to raid their online store. We got our hands on a henley shirt made in a light (yet very warm) blend of wool and angora, with a band collar detail that adds a high-fashion twist to this wardrobe essential. Perfect for upgrading your winter layers!
Band collar henley by Cadet, $103, available at CadetUSA.com
