Based in New York, Fanmail is a new menswear label with an eco-friendly mind and a soft spot for cutting-edge design.
Established in 2012 by Charlie Morris, Fanmail (named after TLC's 1999 album, which Morris played on loop when he created his first collection) is committed to full transparency in its manufacturing: Each step of the production process is shared on the brand's website. Organic cotton and hemp fabrics are sourced from a Chinese mill part of the Fair Wear Foundation, an organization which ensures ethical work conditions, then dyed in Los Angeles, and sewn at the Dynotex factory in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Lookbook: Fanmail Spring/Summer 2014
But beyond the brand's green sensibility, it's the minimalist, relaxed line of the clothes that already has menswear fanatics raving about Fanmail, including rapper Drake, who wore a custom Fanmail hemp denim jacket during his European tour. The spring collection is full of seasonal staples, such a pastel cotton tees, oversized chambray jackets, or heavyweight indigo denim shorts. Explore it with theirstunning lookbook, shot by Milan Zrnic.
