Dubbed Thom Grey, the new line will cater to a younger clientele.
He of the shrunken, ankle-baring suit, Thom Brown, has announced a secondary line today, via WWD. The line will maintain Browne's distinctive aesthetic, but aim to woo a younger consumer with a more casual tenor and lower price tag (however, not that much lower). Browne may just be one of the hardest working dudes in the biz, seeing as he's currently heading up his own eponymous label for both men and women as well as collaborations with Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers and Moncler Gamme Bleu. The collection is already available online at Barneys, and appears to be a healthy mix of his tweaked take on classic tailoring and casual Ivy League-tinged sportswear, ranging in price from $90 for a tie to $890 for outerwear.
