Was Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty the Queerest Show at Fashion Week?

Laverne Cox, Aquaria, Isis King, and Cara Delevingne all stormed the runway.

Rihanna's Savage x Fenty runway show was one of the biggest tickets during New York Fashion Week, which is no surprise because ... Rihanna. Huge celebrities like Halsey, Diplo, Normani (who also performed), Gigi Hadid, Kacey Musgraves, Kehlani, Paris Hilton, Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, and Lisa Rinna (whose high pony was the night's biggest star) attended.

But it was the show's cast that truly had audiences gagged when the show began streaming on Amazon Friday morning, especially the queer models who donned Rih's creations. Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox, bisexual supermodel Cara Delevigne, When They See Us star Isis King, andRuPaul's Drag Race season 10 winner Aquaria all strutted down the Savage x Fenty catwalk, helping to make it one of the season's most inclusively casted shows.

On Instagram, Aquaria shared a backstage photo from the show, thanking "everyone involved in being bold when casting such a spectrum of models, talent, and performers." The performer acknowledged that "it's quite surreal for someone in drag to even be considered to be featured in a lingerie show" and thanked Rihanna for "doing what she has to do to make fashion and the entire world open to inclusivity."

Aquaria added that she's "extremely grateful and proud of the world we are slowly morphing into. Every type of person gets dressed in the morning and there is no reason not to include people of all walks of life in casting. The juxtaposition of bodies of all shapes, colors, genders (and more) between such massive musical acts is also so powerful. As a man somewhere on the spectrum who performs in drag, being apart of the biggest lingerie show of the year is not something I ever knew I'd dream of, but I'm so grateful to live in this reality and possibly be someone that people all across the world can see part of themselves in."

You can now stream the Savage x Fenty runway show on Amazon Prime.
