People often ask me how I define my personal style and decision-making behind my daily fashion choices. But to be honest, my personal style is truly an elusive beast--it's constantly changing and evolving. While I tend to stick to a uniform as my base layer (like my look here with black jeans, a knit, and boots), the rest of my ensemble is constantly up for grabs as I get inspired by my surroundings. At present though, I'd describe my style as minimal-downtown-sleek. How did I land on that aesthetic? Well, I realized that I dreamt up "Bobby 2018" based on five key points in my world that constantly help drive my style forward.

While I call Los Angeles home right now, I'm most inspired by the streets of New York City when it comes to fashion. The city basically radiates style at its core with its gritty, cool, and downtown feel. Plus, while I'm not totally averse to color, I'm an all-black kind of guy at heart -- and NYC just gets that.
In line with my NYC-inspired style, my overall color scheme (like mentioned above!) tends to illustrate those darker tones on the spectrum. Sure, I'll incorporate a brighter hue at times (like in a fun pair of socks), but more often than not you'll spot me in black skinnies, a tee, ankle boots, and a moto jacket.
My surroundings in general influence my fashion choices, including daily objects in my life that epitomize that desirable polished and sophisticated silhouette. The Genesis G70 perfectly encompasses this vibe with its clean lines, high-end finishes, and sleek feel.
A Power 50 honoree, Tom Ford (the brand and the man) is basically synonymous with terms that embody my silhouette--sleek, high-end, and unapologetically cool. While his collections are clearly in line with my overall vibe, he himself emanates that sort of confidence that you can't help but want to try and exemplify inside and out.
While I clearly am inspired by the world around me, it's people that stimulate my style curiosities most. I constantly turn to the streets wherever I am to catch a glimpse at how different environments intersect with fashion. I'll often find myself testing out new style tricks based on something I saw IRL or from street style galleries from various fashion weeks.
