“Keep on being you.”

Munroe Bergdorf isn't letting her rocky start as an ad campaign star scare her away from new opportunities. Earlier this week it was announced that the transgender DJ and activist would be one of the new leading faces for Missguided's newest campaign, "Keep on Being You," and was dubbed part of the #BabesOfMissguided.

"My life motto is: Everything is eventual," Bergdorf says in her video for the campaign, which sees the activist bowling and perfecting her over-the-shoulder hair flips. "Everything happens in its own time - everything happens for a reason." And it's clear from Bergdorf's recent past that she truly believes in that way of life.

After making headlines at the end of the summer for becoming the first transgender face of L'Oreal U.K., it seemed like Bergdorf's star was on the rise. Unfortunately, soon after the announcement, Bergdorf was fired for comments she made speaking out against white supremacy and lending her voice to the divisive debate. Shortly after, Illamasqua, a rival makeup company, offered her a spot in their campaign.

Bergdorf joins other inclusive faces and voices in Missguided's campaign, including Seann Miley Moore, Emma Breschi, Enam Asiama, and Aiesha Robinson. Watch Bergdorf's video, below, and see all the faces in the campaign's lineup, here.
