Shoemaker George Cox has previously collaborated with major names like Comme des Garcons and Fred Perry, but now they've let their iconic creeper get customized by rising band DAMEHT. The collaboration is wildly appropriate, considering the punk-pop trio released a 2016 single, "Creeper Creeper," inspired by the iconic British bootmaker. The track's music video even features them all wearing white George Cox oxfords.
Working closely with George Cox, DAMEHT designed two exclusive shoes: The first is more straightforward, playing with the classic creeper silhouette in a hot pink hue and finished with flat silver studs around the toe. The second transforms George Cox's signature platform into a hot pink suede boot with stacked black leather straps.
DAMEHT's footwear was notably designed in collaboration with lead singer Rivington Starchild's girlfriend, Cuba Tornado Scott, who's a rising model, GARAGE Magazine covergirl and granddaughter of legendary director Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner, Prometheus).
