Spring's affinity for poppy, splashy brights won't soon be forgotten, but expect them to mellow considerably to make way for more mature, sophisticated shades. Brands as diverse as Gucci, Z Zegna, and Raf Simons all embraced a rich burgundy, allowing your wardrobe to reflect winter's moodier weather. Even Pantone, the go-to for all things color, declared the vinous oxblood, which they christened "rhubarb," as one of the hues of the season. So when it comes to dressing this autumn, remember the age-old saying: "The darker the berry, the sweeter the juice."
