Texas is about to get a whole lot queerer!

Unleashed LGBTQ+, a new conference and entertainment festival, is coming to Dallas, Texas on Sept. 22 — and the lineup of queer stars will blow you away.

Queer Eye’sAntoni Porowski, Pose’s Dyllón Burnside and Indya Moore, Bros writer and star Billy Eichner, and Mean Girls Daniel Franzese are among the stars headlining the festival that is having its first in-person event after a virtual launch during the pandemic.

Out’s parent company equalpride is partnering with Unleashed LGBTQ+ to bring together queer professionals for a three-day event that has a been called “gay SXSW” by Pink Media’s Matt Skallerud.

The event will be full of celebrities, entertainment, and educational workshops to celebrate the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community. There will also be special panels, keynotes, workshops, screenings, performances, and showcases, and the festival has also partnered with the Alamo Drafthouse to host screenings of queer movies and television shows.

“We are so proud of the diverse array of talent we’ve brought on to partake in this monumental event that will celebrate the LGBTQ+ community like never before,” Unleashed LGBTQ+ founder Wesley Smoot said.

She said that it took “a group of talented, accomplished, and empowering voices” to put the festival together and that it was amazing “to see how many different brilliant minds will be under the same roof” to celebrate how far the queer community has come.

Unleashed LGBTQ+ takes place from September 22 -24, 2023 at Gilly’s in Dallas, Texas. Find out more about the event here.
