The freshman high school dramedy will return for sophomore year
Ahead of the season finale for Faking It, MTV has renewed the freshman seriesfor a second season. The network has picked up the show for another 10 half-hour episodes that will air next year.
According to the network, the "post-gay" high school comedy was its highest-rated new series launch of the year. Paired with Awkward, the show pulled in most of its lead-in audience and ranked among the most socially-engaged primetime cable series.
Faking It, which tells the story of two high school girls caught up in a lie about pretending to be lesbians in order to become popular, will draw to a close on Tuesday, June 10. And trust us, we're excited for this one.
For those who fell behind on the series can catch up here and here.
