The convicted tax cheat is already back to making movies

Though it may not be his biggest role, we'll always thing of actor Wesley Snipes as Noxeema (pictured), the winner of New York's Drag Queen of the Year award in the 1995 movie To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.

Snipes is being released from a halfway house today. He was convicted in 2010 of failing to file tax returns for 1999 to 2001 -- and we know Blade (1998) earned him some bank. He ended his three-year prison sentence in April and has been at the halfway house since then.

Despite a year of supervised probation left to be completed, his IMDb.com page already has two 2014 projects listed as being in pre-production: Chronicles of the Mayan Tunnel (he'll play "God Of War Ah Puch") and The Expendables 3, though we can't honestly say we knew there'd been an Expendables 2.

Other convicted celebrity tax-evaders include Martha Stewart, Judy Garland, Lauren Hill, Annie Leibovitz, and Richard Hatch.
