This week during Outfest, director Ringo Le finally had his dream come true: His film Big Gay Love, starring Jonathan Lisecki and Nicholas Brendan premiered to a sold-out audience.
As we explained when the film was seeking Kickstarter contributions to come to fruition, the film stars Lisecki as Bob in a story about an overweight gay man who is comically challenged by the superficial gay dating scene. "People like me don't usually get to play the lead in a romantic comedy," says Lisecki, whose Gayby was nominated for Best First Screenplay at the Spirit Awards 2013. "I am proud to be part of the Big Gay Love family."
