Rumors have been going around that Anderson Cooper will be posing in the buff for Playgirl, which both women and gay men can smile as we picture it. Anderson, finally fed up with the rumors, tells us his side of the story and set the record straight today on AndersonLive:
"It's amazing how quickly false stories or rumors get started. Yesterday, I got inundated with calls from people about some story about me that was going around, and I don't even know where it started, but it was on some online publication that said I'd been approached by Playgirl and offered to pose nude for Playgirl magazine."
His audience cheered, and leave it to his guest co-host and gay icon Cyndi Lauper to ask what we would've, "So when are you doing it?", bringing on more cheer and applause. The silver-haired hunk jokingly responded: "We had the photo shoot yesterday. I felt really free and comfortable in front of the photographer ... They just made me feel good."
He added, "No, in truth, no one wants to see my pale little chicken legs ... sprawled out on some shag carpet." Anderson, your legs are probably not the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Playgirl.
The segment continued with another rumor that Anderson is apparently going blind, and he brings up that he does not like to wear sunglasses as they make him feel distant from people, which Cyndi wittingly replies that they aren't meant to deal with people, but the sun--leaving poor Anderson to make an adorable smirk and nod:
