Post 'Hunger Games,' Hutch will play high school cool-guy in prom slasher flick
Have you always wanted to see The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson get pounded? Well now's your chance.
According to Movieline, Hutcherson's Detention, which was filmed years ago but shelved until now, when the young star couldn't be hotter, has been given an April release date. The movie follows a high school class, with resident teen hipster Clapton Davis played by Hutcherson, as it prepares for prom--and deals with a killer slashing through town.
It's not all fun and (Hunger) games for Clapton, though. In the scene below, he's about to get pummeled by a bully, and in the trailer, below that, things in the blood-soaked halls of high school don't look much better. No matter what his fate holds, we'll be there opening night.
