Rosie put a ring on it.

In a photo that comic Rosie O'Donnell tweeted Monday night, her fiancee Michelle Rounds can be seen wearing a sparkling diamond engagement ring and flashing a big, toothy grin. "so so so happy," O'Donnell wrote alongside the photo.

News of the engagement broke yesterday, with someone close to the couple saying, "is very attractive and friendly. Rosie was really proud and showing her off," someone close to the pair told the magazine. "They seem really happy."

The pair, who first stepped out together in September, met in a Starbucks, where O'Donnell was reportedly hesitant to approach Rounds.

"I thought she was a 28-year-old heterosexual girl, because that's what she looked like to me. And she's a 40-year-old gay woman," O'Donnell said to Nightline in October. "My gaydar was way off!"
