Forget a starring role on Broadway--as Che in the upcoming Evita remake--Ricky Martin could be going small screen.
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the latino crooner is in talks with the folks at Glee about a guest-starring role set to air in January. He would play a Spanish teacher who, as it so happens, also has a penchant for spontaneous song and dance, and would headline two big musical numbers.
Martin would be joining an already impressive cast of guest stars, including Idina Menzel, Cheyenne Jackson, Neil Patrick Harris, and Kristin Chenoweth. And of course, lets not forget Gwyneth, who, although we hate to admit it, rocked her role as a flighty/sexy substitute teacher all the way to an Emmy.
With Kurt, Blaine, Santana, and that closeted bully Karofsky, this show just gets gayer and gayer, and we love it. And Mr. Martin could feel right at home.
