Video: Marc Jacobs Womenswear on a Beer-Drinking Dude

Oh, Marc Jacobs. There's no denying that the man has the Midas Touch -- everything he does is instantly desirable and newsworthy. He's regarded as one of the most intelligent designers currently working, has a cadre of celebrity fans, and you, dear readers, just recently voted him one of the best dressed gay men, kilts and all. In addition to his keen eye for design, the man is a master of public relations. His ads for both his own label and Louis Vuitton are highly-anticipated visual delights, creating excitement and sometimes even a little contoversy (even Marc knows that all press is good press). Now the Internet has allowed him yet another outlet to goof off (because that's one of the best things about Marc -- he never seems to be taking fashion too seriously, it's always pretty clothing and silliness) he's been releasing video teasers here and there to help promote his clothing, but more importantly, be his usual cheeky self.

To help spotlight his resort 2012 collection, Jacobs took the piece de resistance -- a beautifully embroidered, garden party dresses -- and slapped them on a cute, beer-guzzling dude as he bounces around on a bed vaccuming. Could this be some feminist manifesto? Doubtful More likely it's Jacobs taking his sweet-as-pie dress and showing in the most paradoxical way possible. Well played.
