Sometimes sad things happen, and as a consequence, a really cute thing happens. Case in point? Due to oil spillage in New Zealand, the penguins down undah are in some serious danger. The soiled water can get caught in their little feathers and make them ill when preening. Obviously, this is not good and sad. That being said, one short-term solution is to knit these lil' guys sweaters so they don't fuss with their plumage. This solution, however, yields the adorable image, like the one above. If this melts your heart the way it does ours, click here for more pictures. If you're heart has yet to be reduced into a puddle of conflicted emotions (they're so cute! but its so tragic!) you, too, should click here to investigate further.
