New Word Alert: Vogue Coins the Phrase "Glamping," Wants You to Camp in Chanel

One of the many things we love about Vogue is that it never backs down from its stance of being over-the-top all the time. If you want sensible, go buy Lucky -- if you want to see young, thin models wearing gowns that cost two-month's rent, you've come to the right place. To maintain this position, the women's monthly has to do some creative thinking. For example -- how do they cover an outdoorsy, camping story? They re-title it "glamping". And what does glamping entail, you may wonder? Well suggestions include a $995 cape to keep warm (an presumably roll around in the dirt in), a $1,100 pair of Chanel boots, a $750 candle lantern from Ralph Lauren, and housing your spawn in a $2,800 teepee to name a few. Uh, yeah. Somehow we feel that Anna doesn't commune with nature so often.
