Cool Things We Learned About Bally

It goes without saying that Bally makes a mean pair of shoes. When we think of the Swiss label, images of beautifully-crafted leather dress shoes dance like sugarplums in our head, but there's so much more than that. Today, we took a peek at this video celebrating the company's 160th anniversary and we got schooled about the brand in a major way. For example, did you know that Bally created the pump, the space boot that first landed on the moon, and the hiking boot that first dominated Mt. Everest? We sure didn't, but all three of those things are totally major. Add to that the awesome vintage shots of the workrooms and the fabulous ads, and this is pure eye-candy and definitely worth watching.
