This is just eerie. Just after Nicki Minaj's cousin was killed last weekend, a new song of hers called "We Miss You" hit the internet today. Many a head were scratched as listeners wondered if Nicki pumped the song out in honor of her cousin, or if the track was previously recorded. Minaj put speculation to rest on (where else?) Twitter earlier today, saying that "We Miss You" was not only recorded in 2010, but illegally leaked too.
That makes this song pretty damn haunting. With lyrics like "Why did they take you from me?/ Why the doctors could not stop the bleeding," "We Miss You" is definitely one of Minaj's more stoic and creepily-timed (albiet, unofficial) tracks.
