Adele's head just got a little bigger. The British singer--and Out's June/July cover star--was just named the most powerful force in U.K. pop in British cultural barometer, The Guardian. With her album riding high on both sides of the Atlantic--it's been #1 in the U.K. for 16 weeks and counting--the 23-year-old singer from London was one of only 12 women that made the list, which was composed principally of music executives. The singer, who was forced to cancel her Minnesota gig on Thursday night because of laryngitis, still holds the Billboard #1 for her single "Rolling in the Deep," but is likely to lose her #1 place in the album charts to Lady Gaga, whose new album, Born This Way, has been selling for 99 cents on iTunes in an all-out effort to secure a million sales in its debut week.
