If you're a fashion admirer, you can probably tick off the names of a handful of your favorite designers. For fashion lovers, you can probably add a couple of magazine editors, stylists and photographers to your list, but fashion die-hards can differentiate the seemingly endless sea of homogenous faces of models. While modeling is one of the few fashion sub-categories where women reign supreme, there is a male model who has taken the industry by storm. And it isn't his rippling abs, powerful jaw-line and masculine gait that is getting young Andrej Pejic noticed. In fact, it's quite the opposite -- it's his androgynous aura that has the fashion world buzzing about him. Pejic has already landed a Marc by Marc Jacobs advertisement, walked in a slew of notable menswear shows and closed Jean Paul Gaultier's last couture show -- in a full-on floor-length gown.
Above is a recent news report on the phenom which -- while interesting -- exemplifies how ridiculous the fashion industry can sometimes be. It's almost like an outtake from Zoolander.
